1. Rope quality... We use only the best polyester and DuraCord rope available. These ropes are made in the USA to our industry setting standards. We use a 3 ply first quality polyester or DuraCord rope, which we have made to our own specifications for strength, durability, and unmatched color and comfort.

2. Wood quality... We use white oak exclusively.... another industry first. Some hardwoods and "mystery woods" are just not as hard and durable. Many of the original sailing vessels that first saw these shores were constructed of white oak.... that's good enough for us!

3. Quality, finish and appearance... We do it all by hand, cutting and sanding one piece at a time. We hand dip them in varnish to insure a durable finish, we buff to a smooth feel and then we coat it again with varnish. We put 3 coats of a high gloss exterior polyurethane to protect your furniture for years.

4. Hardware... it doesn't get any better!!! We created the highest industry standard over 18 years ago. We have our hooks and components especially made of galvanized metal and zinc plating to offer years of safe relaxation.

6. We make our own hammocks?
Yes. We make all of our hammocks right here in North Carolina . We have handcrafted our own hammocks for over 30 years and will continue to do so in order to maintain the quality and workmanship of our products.
