This longtime OBX favorite is also one of our showcase stores. As you’re driving along N.C. 158, the main road through KDH and Nags Head, you’ll see our hammocks, swings, chairs and stands set up out front, scattered all across the handsomely landscaped lawn, and all along the store’s inviting front porch. On most days, customers are lying and sitting and swinging all over the place, to their hearts’ content. There’s no such thing as loitering in one of our stores!
Step inside, and you’ll often find one of our employees busily weaving away in one of the many pockets of sunshine streaming in. This roomy store is a beauty, if we do say so ourselves, a balanced mix of wood and rope and natural light. The imaginative layout makes you think the one big room is actually several smaller ones. Look up for a stunning skylight hammock display, and for the interspersed beach murals done by a talented local artist. And everywhere you turn, more hammocks and chairs and swings to try out! Customers have fallen asleep while enjoying some of our featured items at the KDH store – the ultimate form of praise for what we do!
