The Nags Head Difference!
Cumaru may be tough to say, but it’s sure easy to love. Pronounced COO-muh-roo, this exotic hardwood sometimes called Brazilian teak has a rich and complex hue. But its most enduring quality is its ability to endure. It doesn’t absorb water. It’s five times harder than pine.
This nearly rock-hard beauty is one beast of a wood. And while we don’t recommend trying to set our own furniture on fire, you could light a match against the body of our Deluxe Brazilian Rocker and the match would burn out before the wood was ever damaged. That smudge left behind will just wipe right off.
This rocker’s slow-fading finish adds further distinction, while the wide, tapered arms and deeply bowed runners are refreshingly casual. Both the ample chair-back and seat are tightly hand-woven of DuraCord rope for all-weather, cotton-soft comfort.
See this lovely chair. Sit in it. Rock in it. Prepare to fall in love with it.
